In this video I’m going to explain how to take a digital painting to the next level by applying some useful techniques in Photoshop.
I had the honour to interview Grzegorz Domaradzki aka Gabz, one of my personal heroes, an exceptional digital artist and illustrator from Poland. He created artwork for companies such as Nike, Ubisoft, CD Projekt RED, Hasbro, Reebok; various movie posters, album covers and even snowboard designs.
Thanks to your enthusiasm and the more than 50 likes on Facebook I made an advanced digital art tutorial for you in which I show you all the techniques I used for this artwork. In this tutorial we are going to use professional selections, masking, working with the pen tool and vector masks, creating and setting up custom brushes, using smart filters, blend modes and so much more. I show lots of things in only 25 minutes, so please feel free to watch this video more than once if it is too fast to follow and understand.
In this e-seminar I’m talking about digital art and showing some examples from my personal work.
I show exciting examples of digital painting, photo montages, concept art, sketching and so much more. The main aim of this seminar is to help everyone who tries to start creating digital art and to inspire them with ideas and techniques. The presentation is 45 minutes long and it is the unedited recorded version of the live seminar.
It is time to be terrified! Undead are rising from their graves! In this tutorial I will show how to convert a simple photograph of a real skeleton into a scary green-eyed monster.
Happy Halloween to everyone 🙂
I’m glad that I made it to PSDtuts+ today. You can watch a 30 minutes video tutorial by me on this popular Photoshop website and learn some really useful techniques to retouch photographs.
In the tutorial you can see some tricks, which will make you seriously think about upgrading to CS5 if you haven’t done it yet 🙂
In this tutorial you can learn to create realistic blood. Beware, it will be a little bit gory! Don’t show it your kids and your grandma! I’m using a photograph and I draw the dripping blood on the picture trying to capture the volume and realistic look. I don’t use any special brushes or plug-ins (as usual) so you only need to find a photo to be able to follow this tutorial.
Please try not to start with your girlfriends photograph or the family portrait 🙂
This was the video tutorial that I created for the Next Photoshop Evangelist contest. I made to the finals and became the 4th at the end. I’m really happy that my work was chosen by the judges and my friends voted for me. From the video you can learn how to use the new feature of Adobe Photoshop CS5, the Mixer Brush tool to easily turn photographs into digital paintings, to enhance details of your artwork, to soften skin and to quickly create special effects.
